“After an intense 100 days since joining Harris Broadcast, we have built a management team that is laser-focused on the challenges and opportunities facing our industry, customers and partners,” said Mr. Vogt. “Steve and Skip join an outstanding team that shares a clear vision to lead the market in technology innovation and fuel a customer-first culture. Steve’s software and IP pedigree, most recently at Comcast, bring a cutting-edge customer perspective that is ideal for guiding our product direction, while Skip’s financial acumen spanning public and private companies aligns with our long-term goals and objectives.”

The addition of CTO and CFO follow executive management appointments by Mr. Vogt across Sales, Services and Human Resources and are part of his aggressive plan to strengthen the company’s global leadership as an independent company.

As Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Reynolds will provide vision and leadership for the nearly 1,000 product and engineering team members as they collaborate with broadcast and communications service provider customers, and design and develop next generation multi-service technology. “Harris Broadcast is well-positioned to serve an industry facing transformational change that will require innovative media and networking solutions,” said Mr. Reynolds. “Charlie has assembled an impressive management team that is united by a vision and product direction for accelerating our growth prospects. Our end-to-end portfolio capabilities and sales pipeline are exciting and compelling.”

Mr. Reynolds earned a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Widener University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from West Chester University. Mr. Reynolds is a member of the SCTE and has participated in numerous standards making bodies in the cable and digital video arenas.

As Chief Financial Officer at Harris Broadcast, Mr. Sorenson will be responsible for financial and IT operations. Prior to Harris Broadcast, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for CompuCom, a leading IT solutions provider. Before CompuCom, Mr. Sorenson was the CFO of Lineage Power, which was acquired by General Electric; and prior to Lineage, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at AECOM Technology, an Engineering and Architectural Services firm that went public in May 2007. He joined AECOM after serving as Executive Vice President and CFO at Vought Aircraft, an aerospace subcontractor.

“Harris Broadcast has a powerful combination of financial strength, strong leadership, an enviable customer roster and global scale,” said Mr. Sorenson. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to join this team as we are embarking on such an exciting chapter for both the company and the industry.”

Mr. Sorenson also worked for Dell Inc., holding several leadership positions in finance and internal audit, and spent 15 years in the aerospace and defense industry with AlliedSignal, McDonnell Douglas and Newport News Shipbuilding.
